Today we are going to discuss a few easy methods to check the iqama expiry date without Absher portal. As we know according to new rules we cannot check our expatriate details without making an account of the Absher app.
Saudi Govt has stopped all the other Services for iqama checking like MOI or MOFA. Jawazat has taken this step to stop irrelevant people from checking expatriate details.
Check Expiry date on Iqama card without Absher app
As you can see in the above iqama image that I have mentioned the expiry date on card. but there is an issue where the date is in the Hijri calendar format because Saudi govt Follow Hijri Calender.
However, It is difficult for an expatriate to understand Hijri calendar dates. So here we need to convert this in English date. The process is simple.
As you can see in the screenshot after visiting the above-mentioned website first click on “from Hijri” then write the date which is mentioned on your iqama and click the convert button.
It will show the iqama expiry date in the English calendar format.
Check Iqama Expiry date on a friend’s Absher account
I have observed that many expatriates feel it difficult to make an account on the Absher portal. On the other hand, it is necessary to stay in KSA if you want to register on Absher. Because it is not possible to register without a local Saudi phone number verification.
So it is a problem to check iqama expiry or Huroob related issues if a person is on vacation and staying out of Saudi Arabia.
If this is the case, you can simply ask any friend who is staying in KSA and have an account on Absher to check your iqama expiry and other details related to passport visa or iqama. Because you can check multiple iqamas on one Absher account.
